Y: Quartet-ism
Dear SPV,
How are all of you? I miss you three. Not individually, but you three as a whole. And us as a quartet.
I'm very thankful for the days that we did have together, our "honeymoon stages" as Revelations 2 would deem them. It sounds like a corny break-up letter phrase, yeah? But it's true. It saddens me that the idea of living with each other for the "rest of our college career" was more ephemeral than our freshman selves anticipated. But at the same time I can't be any happier that this year went the way it did. I feel very privileged that I never have anything negative to say when people ask me about my roommates and my living situation. Plus, you were all very patient with me during my stressed days, took in my reminders, and shared your resources with me. Sophomore year was/is wonderful and you definitely contributed to that.
I really apologize that I am not taking part in the housing stress and that I might even bring on stress this time again next year. If whatever works out next year continues to work out, you don't have to try to move to include me. It's easy to say that we'll think about it next year and worry about it then, but in reality, it's unnecessary stress to consider me.
I guess I'm writing this now, even though it's still mid semester, because we really don't have much time left together. And I've been thinking about living situations for the summer.
Love you all,
Y

Y: New Year's Goals
Happy New Year!! (: I hope you are enjoying yourselves, and are taking in this wonderful opportunity for reevaluation, liberation, and new commitments.
Resolutions don't last longer than a week. But let's post up our goals for the New Year & keep each other accountable! (:
1. Get into shape and staying healthy. I'm serious. Jazz class and Sriracha will help. I'm also getting membership for RSF gym. Already some good initiatives toward the goal, eh?
2. Spend more time reading the bible and understanding the Catholic Church. Here comes the assistance of my roommates, thank goodness.
3. Be more decisive. Not hasty, nor unsure. Decisive.
4. Be punctual. I'm not sure how often I wasn't punctual..not too many times, but I'm going to plan to be five minutes early to ensure that I am on time.
5. Take more initiative to say hello, keep in touch, and have dinners with roommates, friends, and classmates. I need to start by not being scared of awkward encounters. Bring them onnnnn.
In general, the biggest of all: Maintaining my priorities. Which means not letting myself get tempted, and not wavering my decisions based on spur of the moment feelings.

Y: 500 miles south
Ah, the warmth of home. Feels like the inside of freshly baked French bread.
Home is definitely different. My parents have aged, my siblings more caught up in their lives than ever, and the house a little more quiet. But of course, San Diego is very quiet compared to Berkeley.
Not everyone knows everything that's going on in San Diego.
Anyway, I wanted to blog about a weird dream I had about our apartment!
In my dream, Harry rented out our apartment to another man without telling us..so he was living with us without us knowing.
So I was coming back into our apartment..and it was really dark. But in the dark I could make out large piles of stuff..just laying around. And then I saw a man! In our apartment! Goodness, it freaked me out.
But anyway, I went to bed and the next day..Sooyun's parents were up to visit. (This is probably because this was the night Sooyun showed us a pic of her parents). I asked Sooyun if she had seen a man and she said nope.
So you know when there are multiple users for a PC or a Mac? You log in at the beginning first. Well, it turns out, I entered the apartment under this man's username (or his key..or whatever) and so I was able to see his living space...weird huh? It's weird that it kinda makes senseeee.
Yay, break (:
Hope you're all having fun!
